How To Use

  • Ensure your hands and the Gua Sha tool are clean.
  • Have your client in a comfortable, reclining position.

Cleansing and Prepping the Skin:

  • Start by gently cleansing your client’s face to remove any makeup or impurities.

Using the Gua Sha:

  • Hold the Gua Sha with a light, yet firm grip. Use the curved side of the tool.
  • Start at the neck, and move upwards. Use gentle, slow strokes moving from the center of the neck outwards. This helps open up the lymphatic pathways.

Jawline and Chin:

Glide the Gua Sha from the center of the chin along the jawline to the ear. Use a bit of pressure, but ensure it’s comfortable for your client.

Cheeks:

Sweep the tool from the center of the face, under the cheekbones, towards the ears. This helps relieve tension and promotes circulation.

Under-Eye Area:

Very gently glide the Gua Sha under the eyes, starting from the inner corner of the eye outward to the temple. Be extra gentle in this area as the skin is very delicate.

Forehead:

Smooth the Gua Sha from the center of the forehead out towards the temples.
